I believe that AI is here to stay. Developments in the past year have made AI consumer grade and has become an enabler. Designers are no longer just the audience to development but are at the forefront. Some stuff I built using AI in the past couple of months:

Frame Cleaner - Figma plugin

Figma plugin

Frame Cleaner

Rebuilds a Figma frame with the fewest auto-layout layers it can get away with, deleting the redundant ones on the way. Received multiple shoutouts in the community.

ASCII Asset Generator

Turns an image into ASCII art in your browser. Pick a character ramp, tune the lighting, then copy the text or export a PNG. Nothing is uploaded. The same page is also served from GitHub Pages, and the source is public.

Figma plugin

Copy Helper

Rewrites selected text in Figma to match a brand voice you define in one YAML file. Blend two personas with a slider, then apply a suggestion in place. Installs from a manifest rather than Community, so it needs the Figma desktop app.

HexMap Generator

Turns an SVG map into a pattern of hexagons, squares, triangles or circles. A repo rather than a hosted app, so you clone it and run it yourself.
